The artisans of peace, engaged in recent years in solidarity with refugees and in the culture of meeting on the fronts of all wars, are today called upon to take on a great responsibility and to the courage to promote and accompany urgent negotiations for a just and lasting peace, which is not afraid to seek the truth without exclusion or manipulation through propaganda and ideological operations.
In the European spirit of the founding fathers (De Gasperi, Adenauer, Schumann), the challenge ofAgenda for peace is to relaunch and implement a community method 2.0, which contributes, as Pope said Francis speaking in recent days of the artisans of peace, “to build truly peaceful societies, in which legitimate political, but also social and cultural, ethnic and religious differences constitute a wealth and not a source of hatred and division”.
