The Leopard passed away this summer. It was his children, Anthony, Alain-Fabien, Anouchka and his dog, Loubo, who announced the actor’s death in a press release on August 18. Since then, fans have continued to mourn the sacred monster of French cinema that they loved so much and have laid flowers in front of his property in Douchy.
The family and loved ones were able to pay their last respects during a small ceremony this Saturday, August 24, in the chapel of La Brûlerie inside his estate. Actress Nicole Calfan was there, as she explained on CNews.

The fans had to be content to stay at the gate and the star’s sons came to thank them two hours before the start of the funeral.
The list of VIP guests included well-known figures such as the resigning Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati, the President of the Ile-de-France region Valérie Pécresse, Paul Belmondo, Vincent Lindon (the latter read a text he had written for the ceremony) and one of his nurses as well as a former bodyguard.
