Real estate: Barnier will relax the timetable for banning the rental of thermal strainers

During his general policy declaration, this Tuesday, October 1, Michel Barnier declared that the timetable for the energy performance diagnosis of housing will be “adapted”. Previous governments have always refused to relax the timetable banning the rental of thermal sieves resulting from the Climate and Resilience Law of 2021.

A relaxation refused by previous governments

This law provides for the ban on the rental of G thermal strainers from January 1, 2025, then F in 2028 and E in 2034. untenable schedulehave been hammering for three years the National Real Estate Federation (Fnaim), the National Union of Independent Owners (Unpi) and the Union of Real Estate Unions (Unis). This timetable for banning the rental of thermal strainers, previous governments had opposed its relaxation, judging that it was a matter of credibility of public speech. The former Minister of the Economy Bruno Le Maire said he was in favor of it at the time of the presentation of the 2024 finance bill but was immediately called to order by the Minister of Ecological Transition of the era, Christophe Béchu.
