Retirement: the new amounts of the additional invalidity allowance on April 1

Invalid people who do not affect the solidarity allowance for the elderly (ASPA) are eligible, subject to resources, at the additional invalidity allowance (ASI). Here are the new ceilings to respect and the maximum aid amounts.

Good news The beneficiaries of the additional invalidity allowance (ASI). This social minima, like many aids such as the RSA, the activity bonusallocation to disabled adults (AAH) as well as the specific solidarity allowance (ASS, paid to unemployed at the end of rights), has been upgraded by 1.7% since April 1. The ASI benefits as a reminder of people in disability who have not yet reached age to receive the solidarity allowance for the elderly (ASPA, ex-minimum old age), set at 65 years. To be eligible for the additional invalidity allowance, these audiences must meet several conditions: being a French resident, undergo a reduction of at least two thirds of their work or gain capacity and not exceed a ceiling of resources revalued each year on April 1. It is this limit that came to specify a circular from the National Old Age Insurance Fund (CNAV) published on April 3.

A maximum of 579.56 euros per month for a single person

Can therefore claim theAsi Farm households that do not receive more than 10,978.30 euros per year for a single person, or 914.85 euros per month. Until April 1, 2025, these limits were approved respectively at 10,794.79 and 899.56 euros. For a couple (married, PACS or in cohabitation), the ceilings appear at 19,212.03 euros annually, or 1,601 per month, against 18,890.89 euros and 1,574.24 euros before. Note that these amounts take into account professional income (to which a lump sum reduction is applied), any perceived retirement pensions, the allocation to disabled adults, income from movable and immovable property (3% of their market value) and the invalidity pension.

As of April 1, 2025, if you are single and your resources reach 800 euros, you will receive 114.85 euros (914.85 – 800) from Asi. The maximum amount that can be received, equal to the difference between the resource ceiling and the minimum amount of the disability pension employee worker – 335.29 euros in 2025 -, for his part was noted from 564.27 to 579.56 euros for a single person.
