- Since January 1, 2022are prohibited the production of packaging or bags made from oxodegradable plastic, retail sale of fresh fruits and vegetables under plastic packaging below 1.5 kilogram, except for certain products listed by decree n ° 2021-1318 of October 8, 2021 and the marketing of tea bags and non-biodegradable plastic.
- In 2023the non-employee cutlery in the event of on-site consumption will be prohibited.
- No later than January 1, 2025the packaging made up of polymers or styrenic, non -recyclable copolymers, food containers for cooking, reheating and plastic service, in certain health and academic and university catering services, for local authorities of 2,000 inhabitants and more, will have to disappear. All communities will be affected by this last point in 2028.
- Finally, The government’s objective is to get out of disposable plastic by 2040with the anti-winning law which fixes the prohibition of all disposable plastic objects: laundry cans, bottles of soda or shampoos, sachets of salad, tubes of cream, yogurt pots … Objective 0 single -use plastic!

Why an international day without straw?
Source of proven pollution, because too small to be recycled, and of endangering certain species, Plastic straws have been completely prohibited since July 3, 2021.
