Since 2010, Stéphane Rotenberg has been at the helm of M6’s flagship culinary show, “Top Chef”. Suffice to say that there is no shortage of juicy anecdotes about the candidates… And even less about the chefs!
Jean-François Piège, Cyril Lignac, Thierry Marx, Michel Sarran… Many starred and popular chefs have succeeded one another in the ranks of Top Chef since its launch in February 2010. And for this 17th season, M6 has relied on the program’s top stars: Hélène Darroze, Philippe Etchebest, Paul Pairet, Glenn Viel and Stephanie Le Quellec.

On the animation side, the channel can still count on Stéphane Rotenberg, faithful to the position since the very first season. Guest on the set of Big Heads from RTL a few days ago, the star host did not keep his tongue in his pocket. And this time, it wasn’t to taste a dish!
Asked about his appetite and his culinary desires in such a program, Emma’s father (27-year-old fashion designer), revealed that he was very surprised by the digestive capacity of the chefs. “Do you still eat every dish on ‘Top Chef’?”asked his host, Laurent Ruquier. Before adding: “Because you still have the line!”. “I’m cheating!”the 58-year-old presenter immediately replied. And the one who invested in the restaurant chain Les Bistrots Pas Parisiens clarified: “I have two suit sizes. I start in 50, I finish in 52 so it doesn’t show!”
Stéphane Rotenberg amazed by the chefs Top Chef : “They’re ogres!”
The host of the famous culinary competition, won last year by Quentin Mauro, above all expressed his astonishment towards his colleagues, the chefs of the program. “The leaders, what amazes me is that they are ogres!”he said. “Because they eat absolutely everything. We do three tests a day, they have lunch in the canteen at midday… And in the evening, they go to eat with friends, we film in Paris so there are plenty of chefs”he then clarified.
And to the one who has very discreetly shared his life for around thirty years with Nathalie Pisibon, a television producer, to blurt out: “So they eat six, seven times a day, it’s amazing!” He himself had confided in We’re doing TV againon RTL in 2023, take “4 to 5 kilos” every season filming.
