The Rambouillet space is a privileged place to observe the nature and animals of the forest. We liked : the calm, the space and the beauty of the wild forest … If you have time and you arrive early in the morning, it is the ideal place to walk around in peace, get lost on the trails and feel there in the world … until you come face to face with a herd of deer! Impressive and magical … The youngest will appreciate playing the adventurers, looking for footprints, while taking care to whisper and walk … Pas of wolf! The green odyssey is perfect for adding a little fun to your visit. The course in the trees is fairly fast and well suited for the youngest, from 3 years old. Namely: for lunch, you can enjoy the picnic tables and food trucks, which offer good and low-prices (burgers, organic pancakes and pizzas).
In immersion in the Rambouillet forest, come listen and observe the brame that resonates thanks to the fall. From mid-September to mid-Octoberwe can indeed hear this cry pushed by deer to attract females. For half a day, accompany and carry out the work of these forest professionals. Also, the Rambouillet space offers activities in groups of 15 people to contribute to the maintenance and preservation of nature, through construction sites (arrange ponds, plant trees, restore an undergrowth …).
The Rambouillet space is a forest and animal park created and managed by the National Forest Office. Located in the heart of the prestigious Forest Mountain of Rambouillet (25,000 hectares), it offers 4 spaces.
- The wild forest is a 180 hectare forest space, housing a high density of large animals (deer, deer, suede, wild boar) in the middle of an exotic natural environment. If you like nature, the real one, the wild forest is made for you. Families can walk there freely in preserved nature. Here the calm reigns, we advance wolves in step, whispering … In the morning, at the opening, open your eyes well, you will undoubtedly have the chance to meet a herd of deer. - The deer forest is traveled via a small 1800 m initiation path, punctuated by observation points, where you can observe hinds, deer, deer. Duration of the visit: approximately 1 hour.
- The Aigles Forest You will make you enter a secret world, populated by eagles, owls and no less than 30 species of raptors. 30 -minute shows are organized. Duration of the visit: approximately 1 hour.
