“The freedom to choose who I want to become” is not only the title of the A.Ge.SC 2025-2026 competition, but a question that accompanies every young person on the path towards the future. Starting from this theme, two students from a professional training institute they created the winning video short in the category dedicated to audiovisuals, to tell the hopes, fears, ambitions and fragility of their generation.
The awarded work gives voice to those who are entering adult life amidst expectations, uncertainties and the desire to find their place in the world. A story that invites reflection on the value of freedom, understood not as the absence of limits, but as the possibility of building consciously own their identity through daily choices. A message that speaks of talent, responsibility and future, themes at the center of the national competition promoted by A.Ge.SC and aimed at students of Professional Training Centers throughout Italy.
In the video, young people’s need to be listened to and understood strongly emerges, but also the desire not to give up on their dreams. An invitation to adults to look beyond stereotypes and prejudices, recognizing in the new generations not only the difficulties of the present, but also the energy and resources with which to imagine tomorrow. A timely message that reminds us how the right to choose who to become is one of the most important steps in every person’s growth path.
