Alice De Lima Guimaraes is 20 years old, a birthday she celebrated at the end of October. For the young beauty queen, she sees this transition into her twenties as “a milestone, a new breath, a blank page full of dreams“, she wrote on her Instagram account. Alice De Lima Guimaraes was elected in her hometown, Vichy, where she still lives today.
The young lady, of Portuguese origin through her father, finished her year in Khâgne and should have “start a journalism degree at the Sorbonne” in the 2nd year, in Media and Editions, to later work as a journalist. This regional coronation obviously changed his plans. “Even though I signed up on a whim with some friends, it was thoughtful, it was an application that I took seriously. But the adventure presented itself after my two years of prep studies so it was the perfect time and I was ready“, she confided after her election to Radio RVA.

I want to be Miss France because every time I make eye contact, meet a person, experience an emotion, I get butterflies in my stomach. I want my everyday mission to be to accompany, help and carry everyone’s voice. A modern, vibrant voice, full of the future“, she then clarified to Paris Match.

The one who dreams of succeeding Angélique Angarni-Filopon as Miss France is very attached to her region and proclaimed on Instagram: “It’s much more than a beauty contest: it’s the opportunity to uphold the values that are close to my heart and to highlight the treasures of our Allier.”
Alice De Lima Guimaraes, who practices dance and piano, will, like the other regional misses, have a cause to defend during the final of the competition, on December 6 on TF1. “Is carrying the voice of young people engaged in the environment, concerned with the transmission of knowledge and the arts, a bridge between generations, a special cause?
