Buying an electric car when you live in a condominium remains, for many, a headache. Where to recharge it on a daily basis, without taking the risk of a random connection? This is the question that the Advenir public program answers, by largely financing the collective charging infrastructure in building car parks.
“The Advenir program is a real boon for co-owners, but it still remains little knownobserves Julien Tourtois, manager of L’Adresse Pro.Gestion. Like any device perceived as “free”, it sometimes arouses distrust among customers, which requires significant educational work.” Especially since this opportunity is neither unlimited nor eternal because the aid is planned until end of 2027within the limit of an overall envelope of 520 million euros. With a completion time close toa yearit is better to start the process now.
A collective infrastructure, often without any outlay
The principle of Advenir Copropriété is simple: finance the electrical system of the parking lot, before each resident chooses whether or not to install their terminal. “Today it allows us to finance up to 50% of the collective infrastructure, with often no remaining cost for the co-ownership thanks to structured pre-financing. Concretely, a project of 25,000 to 30,000 euros can be fully supported »details Julien Tourtois.
The operator thus installs the base on the system for the car park (electrical inlets, cabling, panels) at no cost to the building. Only co-owners who want an individual terminal then pay for their connection and equipment, generally a few thousand euros depending on the power and options chosen. A scheme which makes it possible to remove one of the main financial obstacles for union councils.
AGM, vote and deadlines Enedis: why get started early
To benefit from the system, the first step is to include the subject on the agenda of the general meeting. The trustee must first have a quote drawn up by a certified operator, presenting the collective infrastructure project, the Advenir financing plan and the terms for future individual connections. The vote concerns the choice of the operator and the acceptance of the work in the common areas.
Once the decision has been made, the operator submits the subsidy application, coordinates the work and manages the interfaces with Enedis for the reinforcement or creation of dedicated power supply. “Technical deadlines, in particular 6 to 8 months on the Enedis side, require us to anticipate now”warns Julien Tourtois. Between the time of preparing the AGM, the vote, obtaining the aid and the construction site, it takes approximately one year.
Control deployment to avoid wild connections and additional costs
Waiting carries an increasing risk for condominiums, as the share of electric vehicles increases. “Not taking action today means taking the risk of suffering tomorrow rather than mastering the equipment in your buildinginsists Julien Tourtois. Without organized infrastructure, co-ownerships are exposed to uncontrolled connections and a loss of control over the deployment of charging solutions “.
Conversely, a system supported by a specialized operator offers a technical and pricing framework. “A controlled system may seem complex, but it is actually as simple as deploying fiber optics. The cost of recharging remains under control, around 16 euro cents per kWhwith indexation generally regulated on energy prices »he specifies. So many reasons for co-owners to launch the subject at the next AGM before the window closes.
