Thousands of faithful present at the “Livatino” sports hall, coming from different regions of Southern Italy, who enthusiastically participated in the event, united by the spirituality of Mercy and the current of grace of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal.
«It is an event of great grace and communion with the various ecclesial realities which also projects us towards the Jubilee which will open next month – commented Don Pasqualino Di Dio, promoter of the initiative -. Last year we established the national coordination of the various realities of Mercy present in Italy, which was joined by almost one hundred congregations, associations, movements, prayer groups and sanctuaries dedicated to Mercy, true hotbeds of grace and light scattered throughout our nation ».
Don Pasqualino then underlined the role of the Apostolic Fraternity of Mercy: «Our Fraternity also joins the movement of souls, requested by the merciful Jesus to Saint Faustina Kowalska and lives through perpetual Eucharistic adoration and the “Little House of Mercy “, attention to the little ones and the poor, because only in this way can we obtain and enjoy the caress of the Father who always forgives and urges us to welcome everyone.”
The Fraternity is distinguished by a spirituality centered on what it defines as the “3 Ps”: “bread, word and poor, where Christ is present in history”, referring to the celebrated and adored bread of the Eucharist, to the word scrutinized in the Holy Scriptures and to bread shared with the poor.
An event full of faith and hope that left a profound mark among the participants, bringing them closer to Mercy and the imminent Jubilee.
