No one has ever tested this type of merry -go -round of a new kind. An innovative concept that combines narration, adrenaline and technology, to be discovered two hours from Paris.
The amusement parks continue to reinvent themselves to entertain more and attract visitors: they are growing, create new universes, sensory rides, inaugurate hotels and above all, they always see larger. Some have even had the privilege of winning the price of the highest roller coaster, that of the fastest descent … This time, an amusement park located two and a half hours by plane offers An experience never seen before before. A world premiere that marks a real turning point in the entertainment industry.
The attraction is called El Diablo Neo and it is to be discovered in Portaventura World, located in Spain, near Salou. It is above all a revisited version of the emblematic train of the “El Diablo” mine, which retains its spirit of adventure while adding this innovation which will attract many visitors. On board this Russian mountain, the latter are directly immersed through a story inspired by the mythology of ancestral Mexico, thanks to this experience which uses new technology.
Indeed, this attraction now incorporates mixed reality. In other words, visitors have special glasses that transform the mine into a fantastic world. Thus, each movement is synchronized, the ground transforms before our eyes, the passengers try to touch the vegetation with the tips of their fingertips, admire a giant eagle which flies above their head and will be surprised by a serpent who came to disturb their journey.
“With the Adventure Labs team, we want to reinvent the future of entertainment. It is not only a question of adding a virtual layer to one of our most emblematic attractions, but of creating a new path of technological innovation which will change the way visitors live this adventure with us” said Andreu Tobella, Digital Director of Portaventura World.
Another attraction, “Hysteria in Boothill”, located in the Far West area of Portaventura World also offers a mixed reality experience. “It incorporates new types of scares, as well as improved physical effects: vibrations, hot air, real vegetation, aromas and sensory contacts, raising the immersion of visitors to another level” specifies the park which celebrates this year its thirtieth anniversary.
