Never two without three.
Only two weeks left before the end of the year: the rankings are coming thick and fast and falling everywhere. Lately, it’s the ranking Year in Fashion 2025 of Lyst which shakes up the modosphere. As usual, the famous shopping platform has revealed the actors who have shaped the contours of the fashion scene over the past 365 days. Highly desirable pieces (“what your heart desires”) ; personalities who left their mark with their vision or their style (“the names that dominated your feed”) ; brands that won the prize: based on research and consumption data from its users, Lyst established a winner in each category.
Among the most coveted titles, there is obviously that of leading brand (“leading label”). And this year, it is a house appreciated by trendy girls and trendy celebrities for its irreverence which has been elevated to the rank of the most popular brand on the planet. This is the third consecutive time that the said label has obtained this famous title. Between 2022 and 2025, it saw an increase in demand for its products of 138%. This label which dominates the world in 2025 is none other than Miu Miu.
A finding that is not surprising when we know that, in recent years, the brand launched by Miuccia Prada has punctuated several highlights of the fashion scene, launched some major trends, and released pieces that everyone has been snapping up. It notably marked the modeling debut of the daughter of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban: Miu Miu was in fact the first fashion show walked by Sunday Rose in October 2024. As for pieces that were unanimously acclaimed, she is at the origin of the famous round glasses which have been seen and reviewed everywhere, from the bowling bag Arcadia seen on Louane or Thylane Blondeau, or even the famous ballerinas who restored the status of these lost shoes.
In terms of figures, the brand has also been praised by the specialist press for its resistance in the face of a falling luxury industry. Her performances have also earned her the nickname “little luxury rocket” (Les Echos). At the start of 2024, its sales jumped by 82%, report our colleagues at Business of Fashion. So see you next year to find out if it will retain its first position…
