A beautiful French brand is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and unveils a stamp that will change everything on your next letters.
There are anniversaries that are celebrated in grand style and that of this historic house is one of them. In addition to a year punctuated by exclusive collections of tableware, table linen, home accessories and clothing, the brand is in line with the great French houses which promote the art of living, between elegance, transmission and attention to detail, with an exclusive stamp.
Every year for more than 20 years, a stamp that has become cult has accompanied the sweet words and special attentions. Designed as an object in its own right, it is distinguished by its careful heart-shaped design and its resolutely decorative spirit. For this year, the Heart stamp series features a floral bouquet inspired by ancient archives, bathed in light and color. A little paper that evokes the sun, refined interiors and a taste for beautiful things.
What’s special about this collector’s edition? Each stamp is scented with orange blossom, the signature fragrance of Maison Fragonard which is celebrating its centenary this year. Founded in Grasse in 1926, the brand is known for its sensitive and warm universe, but it is far from being limited to the perfumes that have made it successful. For decades, Fragonard has developed a complete art of living, inspired by Provence, which adorns the home as much as everyday life. This anniversary stamp reflects this: floral, luminous, delicately golden, and subtly scented.
To accompany the stamp, a collection of 12 postcards each represents a city where Fragonard shines. Real souvenir objects, halfway between correspondence and decoration, which can be offered, collected or displayed on a shelf. They are reminiscent of the scented illustrated cards that made the house successful in the 1960s. A simple and elegant way to bring a bit of this century-old art of living into your interior.
The Heart series is sold in many post offices and available via the La Poste website. They are available individually, in blocks or in sheets. The single stamp (1.52 euros) is printed in 1,497,600 copies and the souvenir stamp card (5 euros) is printed in 20,000 copies. Notice to collectors.
