What job should you do to earn a good living in France today? Without needing to be a doctor or lawyer, there are professions that lack candidates even though the salaries are attractive. The proof with this profession which promises a nice increase in 2025.
According to the human resources consulting firm Robert Half, certain professions will see their salaries increase significantly next year. Which should make certain candidates come back to them even though they were not necessarily popular or sought after. Here’s where to apply (or start studying) to be assured of a good salary and to be able to cope with the inflation that is affecting our country.
At the bottom of the list of professions which will be entitled to increases in the coming months, the legal manager should still see his salary increase by 4.7% in 2025 and could thus see his average annual gross salary be around 70,000 euros. But among the professions which could once again be on the rise in France, there is one which is doing well… With an expected annual revaluation of 7% on average, it too can boast of having a already attractive remuneration: 55,000 euros gross annually, or 2900 euros on average, for a beginner!
Above all, this profession today faces an unequivocal shortage of professionals. The job in question? That of a legal manager. “Structural and cyclical causes explain the shortage faced by companies seeking to recruit a legal manager for a mission or for a permanent contract“, specified the firm Desclèves & Associés in a long subject devoted to this profession, in 2022.
The observation is therefore clear: France is seriously lacking in lawyers. And for good reason, we are unable to lead them into law, a field requiring at least five years of post-baccalaureate studies, and we know neither how to train them nor remunerate them fairly. “France does not train enough legal specialists. The numerus clausus in these sectors causes the same consequences as in medicine: a shortage of professionals which is strongly felt in companies“, added the firm.
