A coat that is enough to elevate the Princess of Monaco’s entire outfit.
On February 12, Caroline of Monaco made an appearance on the Rock at the New National Museum of Monaco. She shone with her outfit that was both simple and ultra elegant.
It was to discover the new exhibition “The Sentiment of Nature. Contemporary art in the mirror of Poussin”, available at the Monaco museum until May 25, 2026, that the Princess of Hanover and Duchess of Brunswick showed up. For this cultural outing, she swapped the gala dresses for a more sober but equally refined outfit. She sported an exquisite black and white look. The centerpiece of her silhouette was undoubtedly her long white coat signed Max Mara. It was the “Icon 101801” model, made in virgin wool and cashmere, which was designed by Anne-Marie Beretta in 1981. We like its roll-up kimono sleeves which adapt to the length of the arms as well as its matching interior belt. Both modern and timeless, this coat is priced at 2,299 euros on the luxury Italian brand’s website.
Under this superb coat, Caroline of Monaco focused on simplicity with black and plain pieces, offering a very chic look. We guessed a sweater with a funnel neck, flowing pants and simple ankle boots.
To give style to her look, the older sister of Prince Albert II chose her accessories carefully. We noted her thick earrings, her golden necklace and her brown-framed glasses. But the fashion item that really caught our eye was her handbag.
The celebrity sported a creation from a beautiful French company: Celine. She had set her sights on the medium-sized “16” bag, placed on her shoulder thanks to the long handle. Its price? 3,900 euros. At 69, Caroline of Monaco proves that it doesn’t take much to impress with an outfit.
