The intense sport of Vaimalama Chaves
In less than a month, the Miss Bikini Fitness competition will take place in Saint-Cannat, in the Bouches-du-Rhône. After Miss France, this is the new challenge that Vaimalama Chaves has set herself. The reason? “Weight training is one of the only things I have in common with my dad and it’s something I wanted to exploit to the fullest,” she explains in her Instagram video. Thus, since October 2023, the one who was elected Miss France 2019 has been following an intense program, with five weight training sessions and six cardio sessions per week. “I lost 8 kilos. (…) It gave me a lot in terms of self-confidence, I am more of a woman of my dreams“, she stressed.
Vaimalama Chaves consumes 1600 kcal per day
The beauty queen’s goal to prepare her body for the competition: “we will make the muscles grow and reduce fat mass“she said. Because physical activity is not enough to shape a body, Vaimalama Chaves has also adopted a balanced diet. To do this, there is no draconian diet or miracle recipe: “I eat 1600 kcal per day divided into macronutrients, lipids, carbohydrates and proteins”, confided the brunette who continues to slim down.
