Because when the boys write they are not just exercising technical competence. They are learning to think, to communicate, to build visions. It is not just writing: it is the formation of critical consciousness. It is finding a voice. As Aristotle said, “man is a political animal”, and writing today is a political act in the highest sense: it means existing in the world, with awareness. By also giving children the opportunity to find, beyond a job in the school folds, a possible vision of the future that opens to as many opportunities.
“This project is an opportunity to make our students known to our students, testing them with a writing that comes from the usual school theme and that affects a potentially interesting topic for them from different points of view, because it underlines the close link between the world of wine and literary and artistic culture. Baudelaire and the other greatest writers and poets have had a deep relationship with the wine. nervous ”, explains Gian Maria Vannoni. “Those who participate in the laboratory must do it with serious commitment. The project must become a sort of meritocratic platform: the best article is published, the serious and constant commitment valued. These guys must excite them. After all, wine is emotion for those who perceive it as a food, an ancient story, an art form. I am very interested in the aspect of critical prevention, which consists in raising awareness of the boys on the theme of the value of the quality of the quality, Prevention technique much more effective than many terrorism, such as the one on alcohol. He concludes: “It is important to place the right foundations. Young people must excite themselves. School should not be only a place where you transmit to know, but a space where the encounter happens: among the boys and the soul of the world. Without emotion, knowledge is sterile”.
As Plato said, no teaching really enters the soul if it is not accompanied by the desire that turns on the mind and awakens the spirit. Educating is therefore to turn on fires, do not fill vases. It is touching invisible strings and making them vibrate to transform knowledge into experienced experience.
