With his wife Laetitia, singer Louis Bertignac lives between the Paris region and Corsica. His young wife decorated everything herself.
No more rhinestones, sequins and the tumult of Parisian life for Louis Bertignac. At 71, the exceptional singer and guitarist set down his bags in the forest, near Paris, after selling the house he owned in the capital.
Louis Bertignac found “the ideal spot” : where does the former Telephone guy live?
Louis Bertignac lives in an old farmhouse, in Fontainebleau (in Seine-et-Marne), decorated by his wife as she recently told Gala ; she launched an online store, Rilka Bohème. The former member of Telephone and Insus lives there with his wife Laetitia, 34 years his junior, and their son Jack, now 9 years old. He also regularly receives his two daughters there, Lola and Lili, born from his love affair with the actress Julie Delafosse.
“There is a large garden, with a swimming pool, a trampoline, a pond with fish, fruit trees, a pétanque court for me and friends…”he detailed in the columns of Parisian Weekend. Before adding: “Not forgetting ‘my room’, a barn converted into a recording studio where I can make all the noise I want”.
The daily life of those who remarried in 2023 has therefore changed a lot! And he assumes it: “We like to go for bike rides as a family, go boating on the Etang aux Carpes, which borders the Château de Fontainebleau, walks in the forest… Right in the middle, are the sands of Cul-du-Chien, an immense expanse of sand which really gives the impression of being at the beach… without the sea. It’s the ideal spot for a picnic or to play football”.
Louis Bertignac, his haven of peace: “I feel at home here”
However, Louis Bertignac does not lack landmarks in his house. And for good reason, before the one to whom we owe the hits New York with you, Cinderella or even Another world bought it, it belonged to jazzman Didier Lockwood. “It was already a house of musicians, with a studio installed in the barn”he described in Gala.
And Louis Bertignac, who also owns a villa in Corsica, confides: “It feels like we’re on vacation. I have more and more friends. Here, people don’t care that I did ‘The Voice’. I think they’re used to seeing famous people, so I’m at peace”. “I feel at home here. I won’t move!”concluded the one who will be on tour throughout France with his 70 and dust Tour.
