This October 1, 2024, Vanessa Paradis attended the opening gala of the 2024/2025 dance season at the Opéra National du Palais Garnier. For this event, she decided to highlight her head posture in a very flashy outfit, which is a change from her usual habits!
Vanessa Paradis has a special relationship with Chanel. Indeed, at just 19 years old, she became the brand’s muse and appeared in the campaign for the iconic perfume Coco.
It is therefore not surprising to see the singer wearing pieces from the French label or being in the front row of its fashion shows. This was also the case on October 1 in Paris, during the presentation of the spring-summer 2025 collection. For the occasion, the interpreter of “Joe the Taxi” wore yet another bohemian dress quite in his style.
A few hours later, we find her at the opening gala of the 2024/2025 dance season at the Paris National Opera, the Palais Garnier, in a new Chanel dress which is a bit of a departure from her usual habits. If Vanessa Paradis generally prefers sober colors, this time, she decided to get out of her comfort zone and wear a brand new, very flashy color: fuchsia pink.
But the originality doesn’t stop there: this dress is also distinguished by its pleated details and the tulle that is attached to it. The most? The singer’s shoulders are bare, thus helping to highlight her sublime posture. She is to die for.
If this dress means something to you, it’s because it comes from the fall-winter 2019-2020 haute couture collection presented in July 2019 at the Grand Palais. It’s a pretty special piece since it’s part of Virginie Viard’s first haute couture collection following the death of Karl Lagerfeld.
For this event, the artistic director transformed the Grand Palais into a vast library, where romantic-looking silhouettes wandered. “I dreamed of a woman with nonchalant elegance and a fluid, free silhouette. What I like about Chanel’s look“, explained the designer while talking about the show.
