Here we are near the Buttes-Chaumont, in Paris. It is here that the ceramist Corentin Brison lives, with his lover and their daughter. But you should know that at the origin, they had bought a first studio of 35 m², quickly become too small for three … Bulk, after months of unsuccessful research, the semi -detached studio is on sale! If the operation seems to them first outside the budget – “This is the opportunity of a life”recalls Corentin – they end up obtaining funding, and buy this second studio, identical to theirs in every way. Once the partition that separates them, they recover an additional 30 m², as well as a beautiful space on the terrace side to enlarge theirs.
“We consider ourselves very lucky because it is super comfortable”
For two years, nothing changes for lack of budget. The new parents live with their daughter in a slightly bizarre apartment, where two atmospheres coexist without logic. When the time comes to rethink the premises, Corentin calls on Marion Saude, from the Sunflower studio: “I really liked his work, and it turns out that it is our neighbor!”. A major asset at the time of site follow -up. But it is above all the eco -responsible approach of the architect who hit the bull’s eye with Corentin: Marion is a great follower of re -use and she hoves a lot. Hand in hand, they carefully think back this beautiful surface to make a cocoon of 70 m² with a living room, two bedrooms, a office area, a bathroom, a beautiful terrace … and this kitchen, which particularly caught our eye. All, while respecting a limited budget, hat the artists!
