Dust, blood and fear mix in a single, distressing silence: interminable files of men, women and children unfold in Desert of Gaza, the face carved out of hunger, the eyes full of hope and terror. It is in this scenario that, between June 7 and July 24, 2025, the clinics of doctors without borders (MSF) in Al-Mawasi and Al-Attar welcomed 1,380 people injured during food distributions managed by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), authentic “mortal traps” protected by US armed contractors, under full Israeli military control.
A daily agony
These are not “friction” or “isolated accidents”, but a lethal mechanism, studied and made as a terror weapon. Desperate families, reduced to the road from the siege that started on March 2, send children of just 8, 12, 15 years to those who should be rescue points, but who prove to be theaters of targeted shots. Among the patients who arrived in Al-Mawasi and Al-Attar, 71 were children-25 of whom under 15 years-and 28 died on their arrival in MSF ambulances.
Numbers that hit consciousness: 1,380 injured In 7 weeks, of which 174 affected by bullets And 196 Victims of the unleashing of foolish crazy. In the medical records of Al-Mawasi, the11 % of the firearm traumas He affected his head and neck, while the 19 % He hit the chest, abdomen and back, evidence of the anatomical precision of the blows and the aim of killing. On the center of Khan Youunis, wounds in the lower limbs prevail, but always with characteristics of “targeted” and not random shots.
“A laboratory of cruelty”
“Children affected to the chest while trying to get food, entire crazy crazy crashes by gunshots, people suffocated in the crowd, others beaten and robbed of their supplies: never in 54 years of MSF activity we have seen such a systematic violence against unarmed civilians”, denounces Monica Minardi, president of MSF.
In the weeks analyzed, MSF also recorded 196 cases of injuries caused by BBO – Beaten by Othersthat is, people affected or crushed by the crowd, including a 5 -year -old boy with serious cranial trauma and a woman who died from asphyxiation. There are also frequent eye irritations from stinging spray and beating trauma, a sign that “the crowd control system” is exercised with free ferocity.

Voices from the front
“They are massacring us. I have been injured perhaps ten times. I was surrounded by corpses, there were about twenty around me, all affected in the head or stomach, “says Mohammed Riad Tabasi, patient of the Al-Mawasi clinic.
On August 1, 2025, while the US special correspondent visited the GHF sites, the fifteen-year-old Mahmoud Jamal al-Attar was killed by a blow to the chest near the center of Al-Shakouh: his body came without life in Al-Mawasi, the umpteenth child sacrificed in the name of a “help” that turns into the massacre.
In an attempt to replace the UN humanitarian response with a militarized system, in May the Israeli authorities imposed GHF as the only distribution channel. Four centers, all in areas of full Israeli control and manned by American contractors, transform assistance into a strategy of forced hunger and controlled terror. A mechanism that, far from saving lives, breaks hundreds of them daily.
MSF’s appeal and international liability
“We ask that this lethal system be immediately dismantled and replaced with a distribution mechanism under the United Nations coordination,” says Aitor Zabalgogaazkoa, coordinator of the MSF emergency in Gaza. “We appeal to the Italian government and the foreign minister Antonio Tajani so that, in diplomatic relations with the Israeli government, it is strongly requested the end of these orchestrated killings and the restoration of a truly humanitarian system”, reiterates Monica Minardi.
MSF also invites the United States and private donors to suspend all political and financial support To Ghf, denouncing that the siege of Gaza, who began on March 2, found a new, ruthless accomplice in the “humanitarian help”.

Beyond the figures, the loss of humanity
In addition to the numbers, it is the pain of survivors that tells the horror: mothers who transport agoning childrenfathers who frantically seek a piece of bread while Scori resonate, MSF volunteers who collect shreds of life between blood and tears.
If the international community continues to stay and watch, those “food counters” will remain workshops of cruelty, where the most elementary right – to feed – is paid with life. It is time to act, without hesitation, because every second of inertia feeds a silent genocide, written with the bullets on the bodies of the most vulnerable.
