What if you transform your garden into a cozy setting for summer evenings? The secret: a homemade brazier! Easy to create with a simple IKEA bowl, it brings a decorative touch and an intimate atmosphere. We show you how to do it.
Always full of good ideas, E. Stübing, at the head of the Instagram account @herzensitima, shows us how to make this brazier. And that those who are not used to tinkering reassure themselves: the making is within everyone’s reach! First of all, start with an Ikea Saladier in stainless steel (Blanda Blank, 6.99 euros), a material renowned for its heat resistance. Be careful, do not choose a plastic container, at the risk of seeing your decor take fire.
Then make room for makeover! For a modern and sophisticated design, do not hesitate to use a concrete effect paint, which will bring a contemporary and industrial touch to your decor. If the influencer opts for a matt white, you can completely leave on a deep black or a beautiful rust for a more rustic style. Once the paint is dry, go to assembly.
After garnished the bowl of ceramic pebbles, stones or balls according to your preferences, arrange a burner in the center and then pour ethanol. Then grill a match, let the flame ignite and admire the result! For security reasons, E. Stübing recommends only fill in ethyl alcohol only three -quarters of the combustion chamber and never allow the fire unattended.
To further customize your brazier, you can play with the materials and colors of the pebbles or stones. For example, white pebbles will offer an elegant contrast with a black painted bowl, while red lava stones will add a touch of intense color. In addition, you can add decorative elements such as shells or pieces of polished glass for a unique aesthetic.
If you have a garden or terrace, remember to integrate your brazier in a relaxing corner with comfortable armchairs and plaids for fresh evenings. Soft lighting, like light garlands or lanterns, will create a warm and friendly atmosphere around your brazier.
