What advice “consumption” would you give to parents in this start of the school year?
When you are a parent, you especially want to save time so, already, something not bad, it is the drive For shopping even if you don’t always have all the products available. In addition, you also have this packaging between the brand and the association of the image that children have of them. So it’s up to you in education to bring other cheaper products as you go.
And then, when you are a parent, you also pay attention to the composition. For example, what is in drugstore, before I did not interest myself before having children, but when I had them, I looked at the composition of certain brands … and I stopped using these products and necessarily the price is proportional. You have to know what you are ready to make concessions and generally for your children, you want the best and you do not make dealerships … so I would say to buy qualitative for what is essential.
Do you have anti-gaspillage, anti-super-monitoring advice to give?
What we are trying to apply to the house is to recycle everything. For example we have a compost. Suddenly we have a garden, it is not given to everyone. We the best anti-gaspi with us are the hens, because we have lots of hens, so honestly we no longer throw anything because everything that remains in food goes to the hens.
After it is recycling, like I have nephews and nieces smaller than my children, so toys, clothes, etc., it is transmitted from generation to generation, the satchels too. And then what is not recovered, we will give to the restaurants of the heart.
A “good plan” for everyday shopping?
There is something I am very careful with now: it’s looking at the price in the liter! Because I realized that I was having, and indeed it’s super interesting to look at that, and it is always indicated on the label when you buy, so that’s not bad.
I also always look at everything that is promo and I buy roughly. It is true that it depends on the space you have, I have a basement so I have lots of reserves of everything: paper towels, toilet paper, drink, household products. I buy roughly.
You are the owner of a house, according to you, what should you think of as spending posts?
With my husband Bertrand, we wanted to meet in the countryside and not very far from my parents. We came across a land for sale (in the Oise, editor’s note). And chance doing things well, I had just come out of The celebrity farm… With the total cachet, I was able to buy this land. And what prompted us, to be completely transparent is that the monthly payment corresponded to the rent that we paid. It has been our house for 17 years, we are happy, because we know that it is the HQ, that it is our benchmark for all 6 (with her husband and their children Jules and Rose, as well as Joséphine and Léonard, editor’s note).
But a house is expensive and you have lots of unpleasant surprises all the time! Me, for example, I had the very unpleasant surprise to discover that I had big humidity problems, but not just water damage. The house took the water, as on an island.
