The two Vaccination campaigns against COVVI-19 and the flu are carried out jointly. The 2025-2026 campaign begins in October.

With what vaccines?
The antigrippal vaccine will be the EFLUELDA (Sanofi) or the vaccine with Fluad adjuvant (VIFOR FRANCE) in people 65 and over. Against the COVVI-19, it is always the vaccine at RNA of Pfizer, the Cumirnaty JN.1, which will be proposed. It is available in adult and pediatric shape (5-11 years and 6 months-4 years).
Who should be vaccinated?
Vaccinations against flu + covid are recommended for people at risk of making a serious form of these diseases:
- All people aged 65 and over;
- People over 6 months old suffering from comorbidities (complicated high blood pressure, heart, vascular, hepatic, renal, pulmonary problems, diabetes, obesity, cancers, transplanted people, people with Down’s syndrome or psychiatric or dementia disorders);
- Immunocompromised people;
- Pregnant women;
- People living in the entourage or in regular contacts with immunocompromised or vulnerable people, there is professionals in the health and medico-social sectors;
- Residents in accommodation establishments for dependent elderly people (EHPAD) and long -term care units (USLD).
Anyone wishing to be vaccinated, even if they are not part of the target, can still receive an injection against the COVVI-19. The populations are eligible from 6 months after their last infection or injection of COVVI-19 vaccine. This period is reduced to 3 months for immunocompromised people and people aged 80 years or over, due to their immune deficit.
Procedure: a vaccine administered in each arm
Vaccination against influenza and covid achieves at the same time implies the injection of two different vaccines (one against flu, the other against the COVVI-19). The two injections (flu and covid-19) can be practiced on the same day, in 2 distinct injection zones (the 2 arms for example but not in the same arm). If the two vaccines are not administered at the same time, there is no delay to be observed between the two vaccinations.
Free vaccines?
The two vaccines are issued free of charge in pharmacy upon presentation of the care voucher received from health insurance (it is sent to people at risk between September and October). If the good has not been received for eligible people, it can be issued by the doctor or the pharmacist. For all persons at risk, health insurance supports the vaccine 100 %. The vaccine against seasonal flu is offered to children from 2 to 17 years old without chronic disease (comorbidity) and is covered at 65 % by health insurance. If you have not received a good one and are not a person at risk, the vaccine will pay.

You can be vaccinated with your doctor without age limit. In pharmacies, nursing office and midwife’s office, you must be at least 11 years old. The easiest way is to make an appointment online on meeting platforms (Doctolib, Maiia …) or contact the healthcare professional directly (doctor, pharmacist …) to whom you wish to be vaccinated, specifying that it is a vaccination against COVVI-19 and the flu.
