On Tuesday 16 September 2025, at 4.30 pm, the Basilica of Saints Ambrogio and Carlo al Corso (Largo San Carlo al Corso, 437 – in front of the Hotel Plaza) will host a meeting dedicated to the testimony of three popes: John Paul II, Benedict XVI and Francesco. The event, promoted by the Body of the Third Sector The green tree of life, brings as a title: “John Paul II, Ratzinger, Francesco: three popes witnesses of light, united in faith”. John Paul II – Pope Wojtyla, the pope who came from communist Poland, united the Church by openly facing the hidden powers who had designed his attack in order to contrast it: Mary’s miraculous hand, the same pontiff will say, deflected the trajectory of the deadly projectile: it was May 13, the day of the celebration of the Madonna of Fatima. Ratzinger – Pope Benedict XVI – The Pope of Communist Germany, apparently cold in reality simple, sweet, with a kind soul. Theologian of the Catholic Church, so in love with the Christian faith that when he realized that he could no longer govern, with that same love, he resigned.
