In order to receive the American presidential couple as it should be, Kate Middleton put himself on her 31 by putting on a magnificent haute couture dress. The creation drawn by Phillipa Lepley consisted of a long beige silk bustier surmounted by a golden lace lining, entirely embroidered by hand, with a rising collar. But what attracted attention that evening is above all the diadem “Lover’s Knot” enthroned on his plump brushing. Also known as “Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot Tiara”, this model is distinguished by a multitude of arc -shaped diamonds surmounting 19 pearls which take the form of tears.
The jewel in question was made in 1913 by the Garrard house in honor of Queen Mary and is one of Kate Middleton’s favorite jewelry despite her significant weight. She already wore it in 2019 during a previous official banquet with Donald and Melania Trump. Its value? 2 to 3.5 million euros depending on estimates.
