Create innovative solutions for the work integration of the most fragile bands of the population and the support for active participation in community life. To this goal point the seven winning projects of the first edition of the Social Innovation Awardlaunched by CDP Foundation (the non -profit organization born on the impulse of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti) in collaboration with Intesa Sanpaolo, Through the Directorate Impact and Intesa Sanpaolo for the social, structure of the group dedicated to the contrast of inequalities and poverty and the promotion of inclusion.
The recognition to the best ideas for the social inclusion of fragile people have been delivered Wednesday 24 September in the historic CDP headquarters in Rome during an event open from Giovanni Gorno Tempini, President of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti and of the CDP Foundation, followed by the interventions of Francesca Sofia, General Manager of the CDP Foundation and of Andrea Forghieri, Executive Director of Intesa Sanpaolo for the social.
The day continued with the awarding of the winning projects and closed with the greeting of the CDP CEO, Dario Scannapieco.
The prize is dedicated to third sector entities, cooperatives and social enterprises, provides for a total economic recognition of over half a million euros and is divided into three categories based on the level of development of projects: pilot phase, medium -scale and large scale.
Two awards were assigned for each category, respectively 90 thousand and 45 thousand euros.
To these awards is added the Special prize, With a total value of 90 thousand euros, supported by both promoters (CDP Foundation and Intesa Sanpaolo for the social) intended for the most innovative and effective initiative that uses technologies and artificial intelligence to support social and professional inclusion.
The winners of this first edition are, for category 1, Network houses! of Etnos Social Cooperative Society (first classified) e Isa – Social innovation friend of Consortium Sol.co Open City Social Cooperative Society.
For Categoaria 2: Capacity of the Messina Foundation – Philanthropic body e Panatè – by SCS.
For category 3: Quid 2030 – Made in Italy social and sustainable of social cooperative quid e Made in prison: New Philosophy and Life Style of Officina Creativa Society Cooperative Social Category.
The special prize was awarded to the project Save the Children Italy closer.
