Ismaël Khelifa has been in a relationship for many years with the journalist and documentary maker Alice Gastine, who notably presented programs on Ushuaïa TV. Together, they have two little boys, Naël and Aden, who follow them very regularly in their adventures. But the one who travels the world for almost 100 days a year for the needs of his program must organize his family life drastically.
“When I come back, I fully marry my family life again and therefore I do lots of stuff with my kids, I take them everywhere. And then, there is the question of the famous mental charge and there, I become the referent of everything that happens at home: the races, take the little ones to the doctor, do the cleaning … (…) It was really good. Author of several works on nature and ecology, Ismaël Khelifa recently decided to leave Paris for Annecy, the city where he was born and where he grew up. “I live in an apartment in a small building that does not look like much but which is very nice and it is a fairly simple apartment. There is no collection of travel objects but on the other hand, there are a lot of photos on the wall that tell the trips of my wife and me”he said to our colleagues Purepeople. And it is up to him to conclude: “But it’s a very simple little apartment, we are a little bit in nature and at the same time not far from the city center. I need the great outdoors but also others, I am not a big one alone”.

High -level sportsman, a great lover of bicycle and trail, Ismaël Khelifa dedicated his life to travel and discovery and others.
