Despite the great wealth he has collected during his career, Antoine is not resting on his laurels. At 81 years old, this travel enthusiast continues to sail the seas around the world. The globetrotter, who made many documentaries on his travels around the world in the 90s, has just released a new film in October 2025 called Islands…Once Upon a Time – Caribbean.
Antoine even came to present it in person in a small cinema in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, in Vendée, and spoke with the spectators after the screening of the documentary as we can see in recent photos of him published on Instagram.
Recently, on the occasion of his 50 years of navigation, the singer also republished and improved his book already released in the 80s, Practical guide to setting sail with Antoine. A book which aims to help all aspiring globetrotters to organize their trips. Antoine always has the wind in his sails!

The interpreter of Antoine’s rants has a very comfortable retirement since he receives around 2000 euros in pension per month, to which are added between 1300 and 1400 euros paid monthly by SACEM. “I don’t have to cry, it’s a great retirement that I wish everyone“, he declared to Jordan De Luxe on his show At Jordan’s.
And, during his career, the musician of Corsican origin also earned a good living, notably thanks to his appearances in advertisements for Atol opticians. “There was a year when I was paid half of what Johnny Hallyday received (for its Optic 2000 advertisements, editor’s note). It was still pretty brilliant! I received 0.30 euro cents from each pair of glasses sold. It was counted in tens of thousands of euros each year“, he explained before specifying that he had won around a million euros in total thanks to the collaboration with this brand.
Thanks to this money, he was able to pay “beautiful studies“to his three children Manea, Teiki and Vamiti. The first”manages the Australian subsidiary of the Gameloft studio, the world’s No. 1 in mobile video games“according to the singer’s confidences Figarothe second “heads cyber security for a Tahitian airline” and his daughter is a chef who has worked all over the world in prestigious establishments.
