While one chose to stand out with a flashy color, the other preferred to keep it discreet with a dark outfit. Focus on the looks and accessories worn by the Queen and Princess of Jordan.
On November 1, the Queen of Jordan and one of her daughters were present at the inauguration ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum. For the occasion, the mother-daughter duo created two exceptional looks.
Located near the Giza Pyramids in Egypt, the new museum has brought together a multitude of political and royal figures. Among them were Mary from Denmark, Rania and Salma from Jordan. The Queen and her daughter (who is the third child of King Abdullah II and his wife) wowed the gallery with their extraordinary outfits. To stand out from the crowd, Rania al-Yassin opted for a bright red midi dress by Dolce & Gabbana. This custom-made creation had a pretty draped effect, adding a glamorous note to the whole. For her accessories, the one who was born in Kuwait opted for white, with a designer leather clutch Bottega Veneta and the “Hot Chick 100” pumps from Christian Louboutin.
While the 55-year-old queen was unmissable with her gala outfit, her 25-year-old daughter preferred discretion with a more demure look. Thus, Salma from Jordan fell for a black dress signed Alaïa. We liked the funnel neck, the short sleeves and the asymmetrical cutout which brought a lot of style to the garment. It was on her evening accessories that she dared to use color, with gold and coordinated pieces.
We noticed her chain handbag Fendi and its leather pumps with small square heels (the “Lore 65” model from the British brand Jennifer Chamandi). If they opted for opposite styles, Rania and Salma from Jordan appeared in complementary looks, revealing their keen taste for fashion.
