With its cultural programming, its magical decor and its warm atmosphere, this unique Christmas market is establishing itself as the unmissable event for winter 2025.
Christmas markets, steeped in tradition, attract millions of visitors each year in search of simple and comforting magic. But this year, a brand new winter village promises to shake up habits. Inspired by Switzerland, imagined by the team behind some of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Europe such as the Wienachtsdorf in Zurich or Christmas at the Quai de Genève, this event marks their very first creation in France. A unique market, which hides a bold idea: its exhibitors will change every week, offering each visit a different experience. Artisans, creators, producers and local brands will come together around more than a hundred chalets to showcase their different worlds.
An original idea that promises to surprise with each visit. And that’s not all: in the heart of the village, a chalet entirely dedicated to Zurich fondue will offer a gourmet and friendly break. Designed by star chef Benjamin Plsek, the menu will revisit the fondue classics in an atmosphere of warm wood, soft sofas and a crackling fireplace. Enough to sit down with friends, family or even a large group, since the space can accommodate up to 120 people. And all around, a host of activities will complete the visit…
The children will have the right to their own kingdom. A mini-village will be entirely dedicated to them, with rides, a panoramic Ferris wheel and an ice rink for hitting the ice. Creative workshops, shows, concerts and activities will punctuate the season throughout the event. Visitors can even extend their evening at the Christmas Party-Pub, a festive and musical space. The experience promises to be magical, but it’s better to get there early: the most popular activities can be reserved in advance on the Fever website, the event’s partner platform.
Called Noël La Villette, this brand new market will take up residence at the Parc de la Villette in Paris, from November 20 to December 28, 2025. Around the Fontaine aux Lions, the site will be transformed into a sparkling village, accessible free of charge. You can stroll between the wooden chalets, enjoy a mulled wine or a fondue, then slide on the ice rink before admiring the lights from the Ferris wheel. Open every day, until 10 p.m. on weekend evenings, this Christmas market like no other promises to become an unmissable visit with the family. The most organized can even book their attraction packages or drinks packs on the Fever platform, to avoid queues and fully enjoy this magical break in the heart of winter.
And this is just the beginning. The creators of Noël La Villette are thinking big: after Paris, the concept could travel to other French cities, or even settle abroad. “The event aims to expand internationally in the coming years, with the ambition of becoming a global reference for contemporary Christmas markets.” specifies the organizers. A new way to celebrate the magic of the holidays, between tradition and renewal.
