Christine Bravo has had a totally different life since she lived in Corsica, far from the gray Parisian life. In this island parenthesis, the 69-year-old host is now devoting herself to a brand new activity which could surprise more than one…

Having lived in Corsica for several years, Christine Bravo enjoys a peaceful life between sea and mountains, far from the tumult of Paris. The one who now owns a mill in Haute-Corse, in the village of Occhiatana, has even become a passionate craftsman and has a whole new occupation, far from the film sets…

Christine Bravo and her new activity in Corsica: “I devote all my time to…”

Christine Bravo has not lacked creativity since she moved to the Isle of Beauty. Now, the 69-year-old presenter even creates portable chapels of which she is particularly proud. “I devote all my time to these creations because I am a fan of religious iconography. For 40 years I have been collecting virgins and saints in porcelain, biscuit and wood, which I have found all over the world. I will show you my best finds”, she explained to her subscribers on Instagram, before explaining that she currently had a fairly full schedule: “I am currently working for Christmas markets in Corsica but I can offer you some too“.

The member of Les Grosses Têtes and friend of Laurent Ruquier does not have a substantial pension according to her, but she does not complain about her lifestyle in Corsica. “I live very well (…) I grow a garden, I have fruit, I don’t need clothes“, she recently confided in the show Brand new.

Christine Bravo, cash on her lifestyle: “It has become very hard”

It is mainly thanks to her real estate that the former presenter of Frou-Frou manages to maintain a lifestyle that satisfies her: “I have kept some assets, but if I had not invested in real estate thirty years ago… I would have lost out (…) I have earned a very good living. At the time, we made a lot of money on TV. Now it’s become very hard“.

In addition to her heritage and her artisanal creations, Christine Bravo also earns her living thanks to her interventions in the media for which she (almost) constantly charges.

“I have nothing to sell. I have no film to promote, no play… I receive ten offers a week, I promise you. Would I be in all the TV shows on all the free channels? My life now would be: be on free TV? But what’s wrong with your head?“, the host told RTL, who therefore does not hesitate to ask to be paid when she appears in shows. “Not only am I asking for a ticket, I’m even asking for a big ticket!“, she added, with her characteristic frankness.
