Revealed in the 1990s in the show “Fan de”, it is today on stage and on the radio that Séverine Ferrer is paving her way. At 48, the actress knows where she’s going… And it’s not necessarily to Paris!
Last August, Séverine Ferrer gave an interview to Hérault Tribune. At the age of 48, the actress and radio host spoke frankly and even agreed to talk about her future plans far from the capital.
Séverine Ferrer has “need to return to basics” : where could she soon put her bags?
If Séverine Ferrer grew up in Reunion, it was in Montpellier that she was born. Besides, she could well return to her roots… Very soon! “I was born in Montpellier, but at three and a half months old, I went back to live in Reunion Island. I spent my entire childhood there, so I didn’t really have a link with Montpellier. It was only at 18 that I rediscovered it for real, thanks to a friend whose parents lived in La Grande-Motte”first confided the one who was revealed in Fan of on M6.
And she added: “My birth was complicated: my mother had a very difficult birth, and it was Professor Grasset who saved me by taking radical measures. Montpellier is therefore also a very strong life story for my family. Over time, I feel more and more this need to return to my roots”. Result: if the actress did not grow up in Hérault, she likes to spend her holidays there, and will happily see herself there in the coming years.
Séverine Ferrer thinks “seriously” to leave Paris: “I have this feeling of osmosis with myself”
Asked about her desire to leave the capital, the one who shares her life with Frédéric Mazé, with whom she had three children – Joshua, Milo and Elijah -, remains cautious. “I’m not yet completely ready to leave Paris, but it’s making progress. In two years, I see myself here… and therefore at home too”she confided. However, Séverine Ferrer confesses: she thinks “seriously” to settle permanently in his native region.
“My dream: a small house with a corner of greenery – not too big because I don’t have a green thumb, and the possibility of taking the boat whenever I want”she admitted in the columns of the newspaper. The one who is back on the airwaves of Chérie FM with her show Darling Generation 2000 knows that she always feels perfectly well when she returns to Montpellier: “I feel like I’m really decompressing. I have this feeling of osmosis with myself.”
And to conclude however: “Afterwards, I always come in good conditions: often on vacation, or for Christmas, for a party… It’s always joyful. Perhaps with the constraints of everyday life I would experience it differently, but every time I arrive here, I feel the same thing: the breath, the air, the lightness”.
