In twenty years of existence, “L’amour est dans le pré” has become one of the flagship television programs. Since the very first season, many couples have formed. This is the case of Dominique, the first farmer on the show.

In 2005, M6 unveiled a brand new show which continues to be a hit with audiences today: L‘hasdie is in the meadowthen presented by Véronique Mounier; now taken over by Karine Le Marchand. In twenty years of existence, the program has created many love stories, and a few families.

The first farmer of Love is in the meadow recounts his adventure: “A week later, I was taken!”

Dominique, a Breton breeder of suckler cows then aged 33, was one of the first farmers to join the cast of the M6 rural dating show. Single for five years at the time, he then invited two suitors to his home on the farm. “A friend knew a friend… And my number reached production. We talked, then someone came to the farm to shoot a little video. A week later, I was taken!”told the main person concerned Parisian last October.

Unfortunately, neither of these two women had captured his heart, but the show still allowed him to meet his soul mate. And for good reason, it allowed him to meet Anne, a Norman from Rouen, who finally made his heart capsize.

And, between them, it’s a story that has been going on for over twenty years! “She had seen my portrait on replay but didn’t want to go on television. She didn’t want to participate, but she managed to find my number with her friends. (…) We started talking on the phone… And then one day, we arranged to meet for a drink”he said.

The oldest couple Love is in the meadow : “When I saw her, it was love at first sight”

“When I saw her, it was love at first sight. I said to myself ‘how lucky that such a beautiful woman is interested in me’. And then there was the kiss… And we haven’t left each other since”Dominique finally confided. Since then, Anne left Normandy to settle in Brittany and they had two children named Théo and Léonie.

Moreover, their eldest son, Théo, is the first baby Love is in the meadow. Great pride for his farmer father: “Our son Théo, now a teenager, is the first baby born to a couple formed thanks to ‘L’amour est dans le pré’. It’s a real source of pride! And then, there was our little Léonie who is now in middle school”.
