Co-founder of MiYé with Anna Oualid, Caroline Lanson de Blignières has made women’s hormonal health her hobby horse. Through an approach that is scientific, natural and deeply caring, MiYé has established itself as a pioneering brand on a subject that has long remained taboo. Meeting with a committed entrepreneur, determined to redefine the ecology of the female body.

How would you describe MiYé’s mission and the promise you make to your customers?

Caroline Lanson: MiYé’s bias is to create a new ecology of the female body. Our products are designed to adapt to female metabolismaccompanying hormonal variations throughout life, from puberty to post-menopause, which often lasts several years after periods stop.

Furthermore, we also take care to limit interactions between hormones and products we apply or ingestbecause their impact is considerable. The idea is to better observe the functioning of the female body, to respect its cycles and to preserve this fragile hormonal balance.

You have chosen to position yourself on female hormonal health, an area that is both very technical and still largely taboo. What were the biggest challenges for you at this level?

Caroline Lanson: When we launched MiYé five years ago, no one was talking about hormones. We were pioneers. The first challenge was to find the right balance between scientific rigor, regulatory prudence and transparent discourse.

From the start, we refused miracle promises. Our approach is based on effective products but also a strong educational dimension. MiYé is as much a brand as an information platform: we want to help women reconnect with their bodyto understand their cycles, to become actors of their health.

Finally, we closely follow scientific advances on the subject, while remaining irreproachable from a regulatory perspective. It’s a question of ethics and integrity.

How does this approach translate into practice at MiYé? expert, natural and caring » that you claim?

Caroline Lanson: First by the content. We collaborated with a scientific committee bringing together gynecologists, midwives, physiotherapists, naturopaths, micronutritionists, osteopaths… So many experts who nourish our thinking.

To share this knowledge, we launched Happy Hormonesan independent YouTube channel where we invite these professionals to discuss hormonal health. The objective: make knowledge accessible and help women better understand their bodies.

This approach to education and openness was recently welcomed by the Lherper firm, which identified MiYé as a pioneering brand of “ alter learning », a communication that goes beyond commercial channels to inform, deconstruct preconceived ideas and lift taboos around women’s health.

What new products or brands will you launch in the coming months? Can you reveal some of them already?

Caroline Lanson: We are working on a mixed men-women projectstill confidential, but very innovative. In the shorter term, we are developing a range dedicated to bone density and joint healthas well as a product targeting deep metabolic causes : insulin resistance, slowing down of the liver, metabolism blockages, common after 40 years.

Thus, these launches are part of a continuity: supporting women’s health in all its dimensionswith natural, effective formulas that are always scientifically validated.

In terms of the market, what do you think is next? big problem » for women and how does MiYé prepare for it?

Caroline Lanson: There menopause has finally found its place in the public debate, and it is a great step forward. L’endometriosis is also progressing, notably thanks to saliva screening testa real revolution for the women concerned.

But for me, the next big cause in women’s healththis is the PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). Today is the leading cause of infertility in young women, affecting more than 10% of them, often linked to endocrine disruptors and insulin resistance.

At MiYé, we have already integrated this issue into our research, particularly through our metabolic range. We wish to continue to raise awareness and support the women concerned.

As a female-led brand, how do you define your role in the advancement of women in entrepreneurship, health and beauty?

Caroline Lanson: I believe that a brand designed by women who experience the issues they deal with profoundly changes the situation. We create for ourselves, with empathy and understanding.

The sector still remains very masculine, often approached in a “punitive» or too marketing. At MiYé, we advocate transparent, authentic and caring communication. We speak to our clients like friends: without injunctions, without taboos, with the desire to better understand the female body.

This sincerity is part of our DNA: if a formula needs to evolve, we explain it. Our commitment is to move forward with honesty, because we are the first users of our products.

You are a partner of the 360° Female Leadership Forum, an annual Business O Féminin event which will take place at Google next March. What motivated this partnership for MiYé?

Caroline Lanson: Above all, a beautiful friendship with Véronique Forge, whom we have known for a long time and who has worked enormously to make female entrepreneurship visible.

This partnership is in line with our values: we want to defend another way of doing businessmore intuitive, more human. With my co-founder Anna, we provide imperfect, sometimes atypical, but sincere leadership.

It is time for the entrepreneurial ecosystem to recognize plural models of success. Women still raise much less funds than men; stereotypes persist. It is in repeating the message and by supporting initiatives like the 360° Female Leadership Forum that we will move the lines.
