How much could your life insurance contract earn you in 2025? Many of you are probably asking this question! And for good reason, rates can vary considerably from one product to another. At the start of each year, insurers reveal the performance of funds in euros, recorded during the past year. Useful data for those who want to know which contracts have proven to be the most advantageous. To see more clearly, a first comparison reveals the rate of funds in euros applied in 2025established using data collected by Good Value For Money.
First lesson concerning the average return on funds in euros in 2025: the hypothesis according to which the average rate would increase from 2.60% in 2024 to 2.65% in 2025 seems to be confirmed, for Cyrille Chartier-Kastler, founder of the Good Value For Money site. Another strong element that emerges from these first publications: the rates served by mutual insurance companies remain well above the market average. In this sense, they are ahead of traditional insurers and bancassurance companies.
Several rates around 4%
Concretely, which euro funds will stand out in 2025? Several products already display a rate around 4%, or even beyond. At the top, we find Garance Vivacité (Garance Retraite) whose rate reached 4.50%. A renewed performance for this contract, which had the same yield in 2024. At this stage, the rates located around 4% concern individual PER euro funds.
As for classic life insurance contracts, the best rates are those of AMPLI-Assurance Vie (AMPLI Mutuelle) with 3.75% and Actagence 2 from La France Mutualiste with 3.50%. In 2024, the first had paid a rate identical to that of 2025, while the second had delivered a return of 3.60%.
