Where is happiness, where is it? He is in these two cities in France! In any case, happiness at work…
Where should you work in France to feel happy in your job and in your company? This is the question that Adobe looked into through its investigation into “the sectors of activity where employees are the happiest.“To carry out this study, the brand questioned no less than 2,000 people about their living environment, their professional expectations and their little daily pleasures.
First good news: 54% of people are currently in the position of their dreams, while 28% are still looking for a job in the sector of activity that interests them the most. Currently, certain sectors are particularly clogged such as communication, marketing or even journalism… Conversely, other sectors are recruiting en masse but are in dire need of candidates such as in the hotel and catering industry, education or personal assistance services.
Another lesson from this study is that almost one in two employees feel fulfilled in their current job. In detail, the happiest employees are those working in the performing arts, law and then health. But no less than six out of ten French people say they are ready to move to find the job of their dreams. But you still need to know where to live… According to Adobe, certain cities are still more fulfilling than others in terms of professional life in France today.
Thus, on the third step of the podium of the most professionally fulfilled cities in France we find Lille with 58% of workers revealing that they currently have the job of their dreams. In second place is Bordeaux with 60%. Then, tied on the highest step of the podium we find Montpellier and Clermont-Ferrand at 61%.
And the capital in all this? Despite the attractiveness of salaries, the diversity of offers in almost all sectors and the possibilities for career development, Paris is only 4th in this survey with 56% of workers who believe they have the job of their dreams. Who said that life in the provinces was necessarily less good?
