Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu is well known to the general public, notably for her role in the series “Emily in Paris”; But did you know that his daughter was an artist? Who is she?
Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu is both a successful actress and a proud mother! The star of the series Emily in Paris has a 35-year-old daughter, named Taïs, who is usually rather discreet but who, this time, agreed to pose alongside her mother for a photo shoot of Madame Figaro. But what do we know about her?
Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, proud of her daughter: “What she is no longer at all…”
The 62-year-old actress was delighted to share this photo shoot with her daughter, although she had the “stage fright“just before:”I know photo shoots can be painful. But Taïs was great (…) I know she has great strength within her, but sometimes I tend not to see it“.
The interpreter of Sylvie Grateau in the series Emily in Paris still considers his 35-year-old daughter his baby. “Which she obviously is no longer at all“, she admitted in an interview with Madame Figaro. Born from her former love with documentary filmmaker Richard Bean, Taïs grew up in France and maintained a good relationship with her father despite her parents’ separation which occurred shortly after her birth.
Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu: who is her daughter? “Seeing her fly with her own wings…”
If the thirty-year-old did not follow in her mother’s footsteps in comedy, she still inherited her artistic fiber. “My daughter is an artist, in fact, she was drawing before she even walked“, she confided. Taïs traveled a lot with her mother, notably to Brazil, where she landed when she was only 6 months old, to Senegal or even to the Caribbean. And the only toys that Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu carried in her suitcase were pencils and paper for her artist daughter! In addition to drawing, the young woman is a music lover: from the age of 15, she began to compose her own songs.
And like her mother, Taïs is keen on traveling. “At the age of 17, she left home, I cried for days but I was happy to see her stand on her own two feet. After studying art at Central Saint Martins in London, she settled for five years in the English countryside, then after a stopover in Berlin, she now lives in Lisbon, where she divides her time between her two talents: music and the visual arts.she explained. Moreover, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu is “completely fan“of his daughter’s work!
