This Monday, January 19, M6 kicks off the brand new season of its flagship program, “L’Amour est dans le pré”. One candidate also seems to have already been designated as the handsome guy of the season: Anthony, a market gardener from the Rhône.
Love is in the meadow : here we go again! This Monday, January 19, in the first part of the evening, M6 will launch the long-awaited 21st season of the show. At the helm again this year: the unbeatable Karine Le Marchand.
Love is in the meadow : Anthony, the Rhône farmer who advocates organic “beneficial for both our health and the environment”
Viewers are therefore preparing to discover 14 farmers, all in search of true love. Among them, one candidate already seems to have done well on social networks. It’s Anthony, the handsome guy from the new promotion. At 29 years old, this organic market gardener from the Rhône is himself the son and grandson of dairy farmers. But he preferred fruits and vegetables to cows.
With the help of two employees and four seasonal workers, Anthony cultivates no less than 12 hectares of fruit and vegetables, which he sells himself directly, on a farm that he took over in 2021. The Rantonnet farm is located in the village of Rontalon, in the Lyonnais mountains.
“Each vegetable or fruit is grown with passion, respecting the natural cycles of flowering and growth”he had also explained to our colleagues at Progress who met him in 2021. “Organic food is beneficial both for our health and for the environment”he even added.
