M6 launched the new season of “L’Amour est dans le pré” and, this year, 14 candidates are embarking on the adventure to find the person with whom to experience a great love story. Among them: Clément, a farmer a bit burned by dating apps…
It has already been two decades since Love is in the meadow makes viewers’ hearts beat faster. Building on its immense popular success, the farm date show hosted by Karine Le Marchand made its comeback on January 19 on M6. This year, 14 new farmers are trying their luck in the big love lottery. Clément, a charming 40-year-old cereal farmer, is one of them. And he intends to transform the test!
Love is in the meadow : Clément, single for three years after a chaotic separation
Straight from Centre-Val-de-Loire, this forty-year-old took over the family farm, a cereal farm, in 2018. Extremely serious and conscientious in his work, Clément feels such satisfaction from “duty accomplished” that he even ended up relegating his personal life, and himself, to the background.
This shy guy also severely lacks self-confidence. So much so that he only had one long, rather complicated love affair, which ended three years ago. Single since the end of this romance, this candidate for the 21st season of Love is in the meadow no longer dares to take the first step for fear of being rejected like during his painful separation. A major handicap on dating applications, on which he tried his luck before being totally discouraged.

With Love is in the Meadowthe cereal grower finally intends to allow himself to be happy in his intimate life. Sociable, loyal, funny and passionate about his work, Clément is also frank and authentic. He is also very surrounded by his family and his many friends. A great sportsman, he is 100% invested in his town’s football club, where he plays and trains the youngest players.
This year, and thanks to the M6 show, he hopes to find true love. Clément dreams of loving, and of being loved in return by someone who will bring him out of his romantic solitude.
