It’s a story we like. Based in Saint-Malo in Ille-et-Vilaine, this jewelry brand has caused a sensation with several Star Academicians; including Melissa (season 12) and Helena (season 10) before her.

Fashion is not limited to Paris. If the French capital is recognized throughout the world thanks to its historical heritage and its iconic Fashion Week, fashion gems are also hidden in our regions, large or small. Recently, a young Breton jewelry brand caused a sensation on the celebrity planet, by inviting itself to the highly publicized stage of the Star Academy. Worn by Mélissa, ex-candidate of season 12 who returned to support Léa during the prime on Saturday January 24, the costume jewelry brand made a strong impression on Internet users. The two TikTok videos featuring Mélissa’s necklace have now accumulated nearly 310,000 views and 17,000 likes… just that.

Exclusively for the Women’s JournalFanny, the designer of the label LoutronSale spoke about how her brand was born. Based in Saint-Malo, in Brittany, it was born in 2022, starting on Etsyand is finally deployed via a website at the end of 2023. Self-taught, “creative and passionate”with a “appetite for manual work since childhood”Fanny learns and refines her Art on the job. She tells us: “I learned on my own and by doing. My first creations were not what they are today! Technique, just like creativity, requires work.”

As for his fashion romance with Mélissa, it begins like all modern love stories: on the internet and with a “like”. She says: “Mélissa had liked some of my real ones on Instagram several times, and that’s how I had the idea of offering her a necklace (…) She totally trusted me to create hers, simply clarified that she only wore silver. She also showed me a necklace that I had made, inspired by the singer Miki, and that she really liked. I therefore remixed it so that it fit more with the personality and style of Melissa.” And here is the result.

Long before her, Fanny had already created personalized pieces for the singer Helena. “Helena wore two of my necklaces as well as earrings, notably during her announcement video for the reissue of her album ‘Hele 2′”.

The Bretons can be proud. While Parisian Haute Couture week attracts all the eyes of the modosphere, labels originating from their lands are finding a place in the spotlight despite this fashion hubbub.
