Elodie Gossuin, in a relationship with Bertrand Lacherie for almost 25 years, spoke without taboo about the end of her life with “Santé Magazine”. The former Miss France already knows how she intends to end her life…

Elodie Gossuin has been swimming in happiness for almost 25 years with her husband, the former model Bertrand Lacherie. And Miss France 2001 does not mince her words when it comes to talking about the end of her life alongside her husband…

Elodie Gossuin reveals her certainty: “I know I will die in her arms”

The host, now 45 years old, has already spent more than half her life with her other half, Bertrand Lacherie, and she intends to end her life by his side. “I have one certainty, I know that I will die in his arms“, she assured Health Magazine. The one who has just received a new marriage proposal from the man who is already her husband plans to soon renew her vows with him for a special occasion. “We’re going to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary this year.“, she rejoiced.

But what is the secret to their relationship’s longevity? “It’s about only showing on Instagram what’s going well“, first said the mother of the twins Jules and Rose, 18 years old, and Léonard and Joséphine, 12 years old. “For Bertrand and me, I think it’s the chance to find your soul mate, it’s also the fact of accepting each other’s differences. In the long term, it works when you are all the women in a man’s life and conversely when he is all the men in my life“, she then added, joking about the famous L5 song, of which she is “fan“.

Elodie Gossuin, in the middle of menopause: “Terrible implications…”

If their relationship still works as well after more than two decades, it is also because the lovebirds know how to be lucid on a daily basis: “Yes, there are times when you will find the passionate side and it will be your lover, but in a long-term relationship, you have to accept that it is not passion and that it is also a best friend, a psychologist, sometimes your best enemy… and that all of that combines“.

The one who was Miss Europe is currently going through the beginnings of her menopause and is aware that her man is “is able to understand that this hormonal revolution has terrible implications in a woman’s life“. An understanding of others which is essential for Elodie Gossuin.

Finally, the former beauty queen stressed the need to find personal balance, beyond the couple: “It’s being happy for the other and wanting to see them flourish, even if sometimes it’s not within the couple, but at work, with your friends, in an activity of your own… Typically, I have just adopted a horse but he will never say to me: ‘Yeah, but what about laundry?‘”. Valuable advice, then.
