Audrey Lamy lived in Paris for around twenty years, but she decided to leave the capital to find refuge in the South of France. Does Alexandra Lamy’s sister regret her decision?

Audrey Lamy is a native of Gard and grew up there. Her childhood in this corner of France particularly marked her… so much so that she wanted to settle not far from there a few years ago. The 45-year-old actress spoke about her new lifestyle with Gala.

Audrey Lamy left Paris: “Living eight months of the year in full sun…“

Audrey Lamy had a particularly joyful childhood. “I was born in Alès and had a delightful childhood in the countryside. I built cabins, I picked flowers in the fields, I picked cherries from the trees. It was carefree, joyful, calming“, she remembered. Alexandra Lamy’s sister therefore made the decision to return there after confinement, this time as a mother: “When I wanted to become a mother, I wanted my children to experience the same childhood. So, I resettled in the South, near Montpellier“.

Before returning to the South, Audrey Lamy resided in Paris, where she had settled since her studies at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art. But today, the actress, mother of little Léo, 9 years old, and Alma, 4 years old, born from her love with entrepreneur Thomas Sabatier, absolutely does not regret the capital! “I wanted to find my roots. And I assure you that living eight months of the year in full sun and in the heart of nature is priceless“, she assured.

Audrey Lamy and her married life: “It’s sometimes complicated“

And even when she was still living in Paris, the actress Flash 80 Font wanted to return to this place so dear to his heart as often as possible. “I return to the Gard as soon as I can, I meet my childhood friends, I am pampered by my parents, I eat a lot, I don’t do anything anymore, the South what“, she confided to SHE in 2010.

If Audrey Lamy regularly has to be absent for filming, sometimes for several weeks, she can count on her partner Thomas Sabatier to facilitate her travel. “We’ve been together for eighteen years, do you realize? It’s thanks to him that I can leave with peace of mind, he’s really nice, because supporting an actress is sometimes complicated. You have to accept that the other is not there… He is a business manager, but manages the house and the children impeccably“, she told the magazine.
