In June 2025, in Fremont, a city near Silicon Valley in California, dozens of hooded burglars rushed into a jewelry store and immediately smashed the windows with hammers to steal the many valuable jewels that were there. The burglars initially stole a car so they could rush into the store and force the door. Then, they took a security guard hostage and then carried out the robbery, trying to be as quick as possible. The damage amounts to at least 1.7 million dollars, which is equivalent to approximately 1.4 million euros. The thugs fled in different directions with stolen vehicles, which made the hunt all the more difficult for the police, who were able to pursue a single car and thus arrest four suspects, aged 20 at the time. Among them, two suspects were released. And others are still in the wild.
