The baccalaureate results fell this Tuesday, July 7, 2026 in the morning. And this year again, pass your baccalaureate can bring in up to 160 euros in bonuses in the bank. Indeed, this is the offer proposed by the CIC, which remains the most generous bank this year towards high school graduates: 40 euros for a fairly good baccalaureate, 80 euros for a good and 160 euros for a Very Good mention. “These amounts will be paid into a savings account”confirms Orli Hazan, commercial director of Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale. The offer is valid from July 7 to September 30, 2026.
Contrary to popular belief, the CIC’s existing customers have not been forgotten either. “If they meet the conditions, we also reward our customers, under conditions of opening or holding a booklet »specifies Orli Hazan. A young person therefore does not need to be a brand new customer to receive the bonus. “For more than 35 years, the CIC has been implementing this action for young high school graduates”recalls Orli Hazan. “The challenge is to assert our presence and our support for young people to support them in their essential needs, but also in the pursuit of their studies, their first housing, etc. “, adds the expert.
Offers in several banks
The CIC is not the only bank to offer a bonus: there are four this year, and combine all the bonuses can bring in several hundred euros for a high school graduate. There is in particular AXA Banque, which pays 80 euros to any high school graduate aged 16 to 26 who opens an account before December 31, 2026, without mentioning conditions. “To benefit from it, simply justify obtaining the Baccalaureate and have a bank account with card. This system is also valid for people in this age group who already have a current account with card at AXA Banque only for new customers »explains Jean-Paul Morel, Director of Customer and Distributor Relations at AXA Banque.
For its part, Société Générale is offering 60 euros to all high school graduates, honors or not, provided they have a Sobrio or Jazz offer and present their diploma before September 10. La Banque Postale completes the picture with 50 euros, reserved for children of customers and limited to the first 10,000 subscribers; it is also expanding its offer to holders of a CAP, a BEP or a professional certificate, not just the baccalaureate.
This type of operation is successful. In 2025, the CIC bonus concerned 30,000 young high school graduatesincluding 30% new clients, out of a total of 400,000 high school graduates who obtained a distinction that year. However, BNP Paribas and Crédit Agricole made another choice this year, stopping their bonus for high school graduates and preferring a general welcome bonus (80 euros for BNB Paribas, and 70 euros for Crédit Agricole) as online banks traditionally do.
Other bonuses not to be overlooked
Beyond the banks, the State pays merit aid of 900 euros per year to stock market baccalaureate graduates who have obtained the distinction Very good, divided into nine monthly payments of 100 euros via the Crous.
Several regions add their own bonus: 1,000 euros in Île-de-France for scholarship holders with “very good” mention continuing their studies in the region, 500 euros in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes without means test, and 300 euros in the South region for any candidate with this same mention.
