If the Olympic and Paralympic Games are highly anticipated events for the French, they are even more so for all people with disabilities, because they attract all eyes, because they highlight the exceptional performances of disabled athletes, because they are a unique opportunity to give greater visibility to disability and to take further the ambition of all inclusive initiatives for people with disabilities.
However, this spotlight cannot be simply temporary, and the organisation of these events represents, on the contrary, an opportunity to make lasting progress in terms of equal opportunities for people with disabilities.
