It is not easy to find your way in autonomous shuttles. A year and a half after the bankruptcy of the Lyon manufacturer Navya, taken over by the industrialists Gaussin and Macnica, the Toulouse manufacturer of autonomous vehicles EasyMile was placed in receivership at the end of July.
This young company founded in 2014 by Gilbert Gagnaire and Philippe Ligier has 280 employees, two thirds of whom are in Toulouse, the others in Singapore, the United States, Germany and Japan. It achieved a turnover of 16 million euros in 2020 and has not communicated its accounts since then.
