Charlene of Monaco is like most mothers: she constantly worries about her children. The fact that they grow up in an overprotected world on the Rock doesn’t stop the Princess of Monaco from worrying about their future! The wife of Prince Albert spoke without filter about her children in a recent interview with Gala…
Charlene of Monaco, worried about her twins: “We can already imagine…”
The twins Jacques and Gabriella will celebrate their 10th birthday this December 10 and the more time passes, the more the Princess of Monaco begins to think about the future of her children… to the point of sometimes worrying! “Like all other parents, we sometimes get anxious thinking about the next few years. We can already imagine what they will be exposed to” said Charlene Wittstock.
And to detail: “Today’s world is quite different from the one we grew up in. Children are so much more in contact with the media and technology. What they see and how they process information is so different from what we have known. I have to admit it’s a lot of pressure.”
Charlene of Monaco opens up about her children, both very “different”
The twins’ mother sometimes struggles to find time to spend one-on-one time with her children: “It is indeed difficult (…) but it is essential when you are parents of twins. The conversations I can have with Jacques and those with Gabriella are so different, as well as the time spent with them.
The former swimmer, now 46 years old, spoke about the personality of her children: “Gabriella is very curious. She is very intrigued by the world and life in general. She asks lots of questions and demands a lot of attention. As for Jacques, he is curious and observant. More reserved, he is very calm by nature“.
Despite her busy schedule, the Princess of the Rock tries to make the most of these precious moments spent with family, especially since she is well aware of not being forever! “You have to accept growing old. Chasing eternal youth is an illusion. I’m just trying to stay as young as possible in my heart and mind“, she concluded.
