Decided to take advantage of the drop in credit rates For finally buy a homeyou have planned to spend your weekend examining the SeLoger, Bien’Ici or Immoneuf sites, without forgetting those of the promoters. Do you know that another channel will open to you, this Saturday, November 16 in the morning and until December 27, to try to find the new apartment of your dreams? A most unexpected channel since it is the site Showroomprivéspecialist in private sales of fashion, beauty, decoration and travel brands, with discounts of up to 70% of prices. On Saturday, alongside sales of Zadig et Voltaire ready-to-wear and Furla leather goods, you will find 382 new apartments for sale on Showroomprivé. A bit like the flash sale of a hundred apartments carried out by its competitor Veepee in September.
Why this foray into real estate? “In parallel with my activity at Showroomprivé, I have a real estate agency. The promoter Interconstructionbased in Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine), told me of its difficulty in selling some of the housing in its various programs, in the current context of still high credit rates”explains to Capital Jean-François Bourdin, “chief commercial officer home and tech” of the e-commerce site. THE new home sales have in fact declined further in the third quarter of 2024, by 2.5%, over one year, according to the Federation of Real Estate Developers. With Showroomprivé having more than 20 million members, the site is a guarantee of considerable additional visibility for Interconstruction.
Notary fees offered for all buyers
Its 382 apartments which will be put on sale on Showroomprivé on Saturday are distributed across eight construction programs located in Ile-de-Francein Saint-Cloud (20 lots), in Plessis-Robinson (70 lots), in Bagneux (47 lots), Colombes (9 lots), Clichy (17 lots), Drancy (53 lots), Pontoise (73 lots) and Poissy (93 lots). These properties range from studios to family apartments with five or six rooms, for prices between 150,000 euros and more than a million euros. Of the “list prices which are already among the lowest on the market, Interconstruction marketing its goods almost at their cost price”assures Jean-François Bourdin.
On these apartments, “so we are not going to offer facial discounts, as we do for other products”warns the manager. On the other hand, any purchaser of Interconstruction housing via Showroomprivé will benefit from notary fees offered. A saving of 2 to 3% of the sale price who can finance the installation of your kitchen! In these times of real estate crisis, free notary fees are commonplace among developers but only for the first 10 or 15 housing reservers.
Discussions initiated with other promoters
In addition to the free notary fees, each purchaser of a home on Showroomprivé will receive a 5,000 euro voucher to be used on furnishing and decorative items offered on the site. Finally, a draw will determine, among all the signatories of an accommodation reservation contract before December 31, 2024, the winner of a second apartment, worth 165,000 euros. A great reward at first glance, but what will you do with this property if you don’t feel like a rental investor and have no desire to pay two property taxes each year?
“We will indeed have to look with the bailiff in charge of the draw to see what the winner can do with this prize if he or she does not want it”recognizes Jean-François Bourdin. The manager intends to continue to “support Interconstruction in its new program launches in 2025”. And maybe also other promoters, both regional and national, with which “discussions have started”.
